An Homage To The Police

An homage, you say? Why homage?

Why indeed.

Could be we thought Sting might prefer the French, being the pretentious knob he is.

Could be, but it isn't.

The truth is we're three guys who grew up loving the music of The Police and who, after talking about it for years, finally got round to playing their music together and then thought, hmm, maybe others people might like this, too.

But we don't ponce about on stage pretending to be The Police. We won't do voices. We don't use the same gear. And we can't get our drummer to wear short shorts and tube socks despite what most would consider a very generous offer.

No, we just play it the way we think it was intended to be played:

Live and loud and without pretense.

Except the song in French. That's still a little pretentious.
